You are about to find out another one of my crazy quirks...I'm obsessed with office supplies. This really isn't a new "obsession"...as far back as I can remember I've loved office supplies. I remember being excited when it was time to take a trip to Office Depot or even walking through the home office aisle at Walmart.
clips (Oh my. I go CRAZY with these...they have so many uses!), spiral bound notebooks...the list goes on and on. And on. And on some more.
Think I'm already crazy enough? Read on.
The problem with this addiction love of all things office related is that I never want to use any of the things. I don't want to mess up their prettiness (Yes, that's a word! I looked it up. :)). I have at least 2 notebooks that I've had for about 2+ years that I've never used because I love them so much. I can never find a use that is important enough to "mess" them up. Well, I never want to use any except binder clips because there isn't really much you can mess up.
Just the other day I bought yet another notebook...I wonder if I'll actually use it or if I save it to maintain it's prettiness.
I told you this addiction love is bad...

ReplyDeleteI am probably old enough to be your Grammy...*I am a grammy to four sweet babes ;-)*. I too love all things you would find in an office. In the fall, when school starts and the moms are at Walmart buying supplies for their kiddos....I get a bit nostalgic/sad. SOO the past few years, have bought myself some cute/nice supplies. I too, do not like to mess up a nice notebook. I am a bit OCD, so I start at the back of the notebook. LOL seriously, turn one page to the back inside cover. Then you are not making marks on the pages under that page. Does that make sense?
ReplyDeleteI love your style, colors etc. Did not comment on your purse post, but love all three of the gray ones. Simple, less is best, is my style. The bedset *turquoise* one you chose, is my fave. Plain, simple, yet speaks volumes. Your little sisters are adorable.
Is your dad a pastor? it looks like he is, from your name. ;-)
Congrats on the win from Mckmama's page. She is amazing. I won a $200.00 gift card from Best Buy just before Christmas, from Mckmama's blog. My husband and I bought a Garmin *navigation system*, a 4 gig thumb drive, case for Garmin, and a Microsoft Lifecam, *webcam, microphone, for skyping*. We bought them in Bend Oregon, so as to save on the taxes *Oregon has no tax*.
P.S. I'm a christian also, have been since the age of 7. ;-)
