ReplyDeleteWell today was an unusual day for me.
ReplyDeleteA typical day starts with rain forest noises (my alarm setting) at 6:00 am. Then comes my normal routine: shower, hair, make-up, maybe breakfast-depends on how I'm doing on time. I head out the door at 7:00 am, make a quick stop at the gas station and get some coffee. Then I am ready to start my trek to work... my hour trek. I get to work and walk into my office, turn on the light and say hi to Mr. McKenzie (who is right next door to me). At 8:30 is prayer meeting which last until 9:00am. I get as many tasks in as I can before lunch, because after lunch I am very sleepy. 12:30 is my normal lunch time. Most of the time I go to Wendy's and order a side Cesar salad, 5-piece chicken nuggets (to tear-up and put in my salad of course), and large unsweetened tea. The Wendy's in the town of my work is the best Wendy's around. This Wendy's has a bucket of lemon slices on the counter; this is extra fun because I always load my tea with lemons. I think that soon the management will see me coming and hide the lemons until I leave lol! I take my lunch back to the warehouse and sit on a picnic table with Caroline, Chip, and someone else. Caroline and I like to talk about politics... well, Caroline mostly-I listen...btw, Caroline thinks that my mom looks like Sarah Palin. Chip likes to talk about blowing things up (just in his back yard of course)- He is certainly a charactor! he is a firecracker! Lunch is the best part of the day because 1) I love Wendy's, 2) I love Tea, 3) my work is more than half done, 4) I enjoy the characters, and 5) just because (I only added a 5th one because I don't like even numbers).
Okay.. so I said all that for no reason at all.
Like i started with... today is an unusually day. For i am on Vacation. I woke up at 10:00 am (without the rain forest in my bedroom), and nibbled on M&M's and goldfish crakers while I got myself ready. Right now, it is lunch time, but I am not hungry.
