I just realized something. The next Happiness Is will be hosted from Germany! Dude. (Don't ask me why I said dude...It just felt right. Ha.) This is insane. Really. I can't believe it.
Today is also the first day of September! Um, excuse me summer, but where did you go? It seemed like school just let out for the year, and here we are, already going back.
Don't get me wrong, I love September - especially this year, since it brings going to Germany, plus Jeremiah's, MeMe's, and my birthdays - but I wouldn't have minded holding onto summer a bit longer.
Moving right along.
Playing along is simple. Just write a post with two things that made you happy this week, grab the button (or add a link to me, either way is fine), and come back here to link up! It doesn't get much easier than that.
Also, many of you asked for me to have the linky open longer. And since I aim to please, I'll have it open for another day. So it'll open sometime on Wednesday mornings and close at 11:59pm (CST) on Thursday. Sound fair? Maybe we can get more link ups this way :)

I can't believe that it is already September either! It seems like just yesterday I was watching fireworks on the fourth of July.
ReplyDeleteI loved this "Happiness Is..." post! I loved the picture that went with it to, it was probably one of my favorite photo's I have seen in a while!
Blessings,
Maggie

ReplyDeleteWhat? It's September? No way! Beautiful pictures. I love shooting on manual also.
I love September. And Germany. I'm so jealous that you're going, I love it there. Where in Germany are you gonna be? I lived in Holland for a few years and my family went to Germany for holiday one year. We stayed in the Black Forest...it's so beautiful :) Have fun!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a great photographer. i commend you that someone your age has taken such a great hobby.
ReplyDeleteGood job with the manual mode! Are you shooting in RAW too? I just stumbled on your blog and it is so nice to hear your cheery posts!
ReplyDeleteHow I wish I was going too! Love it there, lived there for three years or so and miss it. What has made me happy this week is seeing the smile on my little boy's face, listening to him sing for no reason, feeling the warm fuzzy from the good Lord who is always present in my life...oh and some one made a purchase in my little shop :-)

ReplyDeleteHappiness for me would be going home! I'm sitting in an office waiting for the traffic to die down before I fly cross country. I just wanted to stop by and say hello!
ReplyDeleteCarlotta ~ Thanks! ;D
ReplyDeleteThis looks cool! I'll have to officially enter next week.
ReplyDeleteBut, I know happiness is always just spending time with family and friends. I know some people don't realize this, but I've been apart from family and friends a lot - since we move all over so often - and being able to see them is a wonderful blessing.
I love September, too! My birthday is in Sep. also. You have a really cool blog!
