Greetings, loved ones! It is now time for Happiness Is!
Great. Now I sound like I'm from the 1600s or something.
Great. Now I sound like I'm from the 1600s or something.
Anyway, if you haven't played along before, it's simple. Just wrote a post with two things that have made you happy this week, add the button (below) to the post or just add a link to my blog, then come back here and link up!
See? Easy as pie.
(Going off on a bunny trail here, why in the world is it called "easy as pie"? Why not "easy as cookies" or "easy as a rhino" for heaven's sakes! Besides, the one time I made pie, it wasn't easy it. It took me far too long. *cough*threehours*cough* But I'm digressing.)
Happiness is...

...MeMe, Jeremiah, and my dad arriving back safely from their trip. They left on Friday to visit my two older sisters (sadly I wasn't able to come along this time) and came back last night. I'm so glad the family is back together again!

...beautiful, sunny weather. Every time we come to Germany we're usually blessed with good weather, but most of our time here it's been rainy and cold. I've learned that I thrive on sunshine. Even when it's cold, the sun makes all the difference.
So, what has made you happy this week? Link up and let me know! (Or, you can leave your answers in the comment section on this post)

Gorgeous picture of the church and the sky. Glad they made it back safely.
ReplyDeleteThe photo of the old church = beautifulness.
ReplyDeleteI'm not completely sure, but I think the term ''easy as pie'' is supposed to be kind of.. exaggerating a little because pie ISN'T easy to make. Does this make sense? Ha ha, maybe.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos Carlotta!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, sunny weather makes everyone happy. I just posted mine. I'm happy to have my husband home this week!
ReplyDelete1600's? LOl. ;D
ReplyDeleteWell, it doesn't mean that you made the pie - it can be "easy as pie" if bough from Wal Mart. *grin*

P.s. The first pic is adorable!! I'm off to go write my post...
Goodness you being in Germany makes me miss it sooo much!
ReplyDeleteAnyways my happiness things are:
All the scarfs and blankets and other knitting projects I'm working on that are finally all coming together and I really think they'll all work out in the end :)
And, the pretty nail polish pens that I got on the weekend. They make it easy to do fun designs! Right now I have ladybugs on my thumbs but I'm going to start practicing doing other designs too. Something different on each finger. Maybe I'll even blog about it with pictures! Or a vlog! What do you think of that?
Also, I'm glad the weather is so beautiful, even if you get a bunch of rainy days, the sunny ones are even more of a treat :)
gorgeous pictures! I love this challenge. This was my first time participating.
ReplyDeletehappiness is waking up on a beautiful autumn day knowing that everything in life is just fine.
ReplyDeleteyeah, my dancing experience was brutal. ugh.

ReplyDeleteI didn't get a chance to participate this week but reading all the nuggets of happiness is making me smile :)
