oreo love.

oreo8

Am I the only one...

oreo7
oreo6

...that upon seeing these perfectly lined rows of delicious filled cookies...

oreo5

...does a happy dance?

oreo4

Then who else promptly breaks them apart (Always the non-creme side first, then the creme side for me - how do you eat your Oreos?)...

oreo3

...and photographs them before allowing themselves the indulgence of eating one...

oreo2
oreo1

...but then gives into temptation and takes a bite (I reassembled it for this shot)?

chocolate ice cream with oreos

Wait! Before you put the package away, crush one or eleven cookies and sprinkle them over your (chocolate) ice cream. Oh yes. That's what I'm talking about. Sweet goodness.

And no, I haven't been on an Oreo kick lately. Why do you ask? ;)

What's one of your favorite packaged treats (read: unhealthy store bought indulgences)?

  1. hahaha, 'one or eleven."
Oreos have got to be in the top 5, especially double stuffed. I love chunky choc. chip cookies too.

  2. I eat oreos by either breaking them apart scraping the cream off. Then, I put them back together to dunk.

    OR, I dunk them whole!!!

    Have a oreo eating day,

    Kelsey

  6. I love oreos. But not the double stuffed. They have to be regular. I'm a dipper and the double stuffed just dont absorb the milk they way they were meant too =] Great pictures. You make oreos look as good as they are!

  7. Double stuff Oreos......heaven in my mouth. ;)
And oh, I eat my Oreos the same way!!! You separate the two sides, eat the non-creme one, then I like to scrape off the creme......oh YUM, now I want an Oreo. :D

  9. Oh, no, Carlotta. You are most definitely not the only one who photographs her food before eating it. I'm guilty as charged. ;) How do I eat my Oreos? I separate the sides, pull the creme off in one big piece and lick it, then eat it, then eat the sides. Oh, now I'm hungry...

  10. seriously oreos are our thing. I don't buy much prepackaged food but somehow they Oreos find their way home with me about once a month.

And my favorite way of eating them? one or eleven crunched up in icecream. OH MY WORD I am positive there are Oreo's in heaven.

  11. Yum! Oreos aren't hugely popular here, but we have custard creams and bourbon biscuits {chocolate, not alcoholic!} which are the same kind of thing. I always twist them apart, eat the plain side, scrape off the filling and then dunk the other plain side in my coffee or tea. It's disgusting but delicious!

  12. one or eleven. haha I love it! Oreos have always been one of my favorite treats. I always break them apart.

  16. I'm generally a lurker here, but you totally drew me out by talking about unhealthy storebought foods =P I loooove Cheez-its. My mom never ever buys them, but sometimes I indulge and get a box.

  17. I am such an oreo addict - I could seriously eat a whole row of them. YUM!!
Chrushing them on chocolate ice cream?? Is that heaven or what? I have never tried it, but it looks good - chocolate is my 2nd fave flavor. Can you guess what my favorite is? Cookies and Creme. *grins*

P.S You tempted me - now I have to convince my mom to buy a pack of oreos. :)

  23. Oreos are the one cookies I could eat an entire package of in one sitting. I wish they weren't so fattening, which explains why I haven't eaten one in a couple years. ;)

  24. I see you are enjoying ur new lens! I'm not so big on the oreos but I LOVE my lens! (I got one a months or two ago!)

  30. Definitely the Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies! So good, but so unhealthy! Not going by calories, that is... ;D

    `Miranda

P.S. I eat MY oreos the way they are. Of course, I do admit I sometimes eat the non-creme side first, because I LOVE that side!!! :D

  31. Ha, I love "one or eleven"! But I'll be honest - I had my first ever oreo on Monday. And I don't want to offend you all, but it was .. average. They're really not a big deal here.

I've got to admit though, it looks pretty amazing crushed on top of that ice cream!

  32. I love Oreos, and almost every other type of cookie. I've never had double-stuffed, though; I shall have to try it!

And I'll admit I have a tendency to take pictures of them before I devour them, too. You're not alone...XD

My favorite is Little Debbie German chocolate cookie rings. Yum.

  41. I don't really like oreos that much! Just not my type of biscuit.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I ate Oreos all the time growing up. Ironically, I refuse to by them for my kids! And if I did, I would eat them all. I love chocolate covered graham crackers!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Oh, I like my oreos dipped in milk...nice and soggy. Mmmmm...
Oh, but my favorite treat is any sort of processed cheese crap...you know, cheetoes, cheeze-its, doritos, etc.
Man, now I need to go get a snack!

  44. I think I am one of the only people that really dislike's Oreo's.... the creme is delicious but the brown biscuit on the outsides.... eughhhh, horrible!! However I do like them put in a blender with vanilla ice cream... mmmmm!

My mind has gone blank.. I can't think of my favourite indulgence... maybe lemon cheesecake?
