I would love to be a doctor. For the main reason that there is a disconnection between doctors and disease, or at least the disease I have. Doctors are healthy, virtually. They don't fully know disease. They read and learn about it, but it's just not the same as actually experiencing it. It would be great to give back in some way, also. I'm specifically interested in gastroenterology and the fast paced life of a surgeon. Maybe I'll shoot for both. Who knows, right?

I love love love my Nana's homemade sea food chowder. I'm also a big lover of eggs and general vegetables.

I love the water. The ocean is wonderful, but it wears me out. I have family in Maine, so I've been to a few lakes in my lifetime. Pools are wonderful, too although I think they are my least favorite.

There are very many that I like, but most fall into the categories of blogs of skilled photographers and writers (beautiful photos and moving words make a great combination), and here are a few of my favorites in those categories:
This one, Aspire, Sarah Barlow's photography blog, Kari Elaine's photography blog, Thoughts of a Shildmaiden, Jamie Delaine's photography blog, Tallulah Wood's photography blog, A Matter of How You See It, Kala Marie's photography blog, and one of the only photographers online who I knew in person, farmgirlinflipflops, Hannah's photography blog - these are just a few, but these bloggers are all quite skilled at what they do.

Hm, hard question...possibly some kinds of pizza, orange or black pepper chicken, or a whole bunch of other tasty things - it's way too hard to just pick one, especially since chocolates and other desserts and sweet treats count as well, but I wouldn't want to eat them as a meal.
[five] what do you prefer to swim in: ocean, lake, or pool?
I actually find swimming to be pretty boring. If I'm at the beach, everyone else can swim in the ocean while I take pictures of it...but if I have to choose one it would probably be a pool, since as a general rule I do not go into any water I can not see the bottom of - good point about not knowing what might be beneath you, Carlotta. But then, there is the chlorine in pools...
When I was younger, I used to have a fairly irrational fear of being under the ocean; putting my head under the water, even where it was shallow, freaked me out, and watching documentaries of divers in the ocean made me kind of scared as well. The latter fear has mostly gone away, but I haven't found out if the former remains; swimming isn't my thing, so I don't plan on seeing if it's gone now.

Photographer! For weddings, engagements, children, families, couples and seniors. And I also want to sell my photographs of scenery and nature.

I've never swam in an ocean, but I have in both a pool and lake. I agree in that I don't like swimming with the fish and bugs and who knows what. :) I prefer a clean sanitized pool. :)

ReplyDeleteMary Rachel. I go by MaryRachel because when I/other people write Mary Rachel (as two separate words), I some how end up being called either Mary or Rachel. So, MaryRachel is good. Plus, I like the two names together. Ohh, for nicknames there are quite a few... MR, Mister, MRB, Mer, Mare, MRI (funny story...).

Photographer, FBI agent, kindergarten-1st grade teacher (not particularly sure yet...), actress, and some others I will probably think of at some point. I have a wide range of interests :)

My mom's homemade pesto pasta with shrimp or my aunt's baked mac & cheese. There are some good cooks in my family! Oh! And there's always chocolate. My mom's lemon ice-box pie, too. I like fruit too - Starfruit is tasty and so are pomegranates and apples and oranges...!

I love the ocean, though I don't mind having to swim in any particular one of those. They're all enjoyable. I just like swimming :)

Ocean! I think lakes are kind of gross. Pools are nice but sometimes I get tired of the chlorine and confining walls. The ocean critters might be freaky, but after swimming in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Papua New Guinea and Australia I have to come to love the ocean.

I'm working towards it :) Apart from that, I have this silly idea of wanting to be a fulltime musician/singer-songwriter.

I was thinking pharmacist... how cool would it be to work in an old fashioned pharmacy and get to help people at the same time? But then I thought of all the medical classes I would have to take that involve talking about and seeing blood. Blood and me don't mix. Like, at all. :)

Sweet potato fries are delicious. Any type of sweet (I'm a sugar addict) is delightful. Homemade chicken pot pie is yummy. Homemade rolls are yummy. Homemade cinnoman rolls (yummy recipe here). Good hot dogs. Kolaches. Hoska. Pretty much anything. :)

middle name? Rachel. It's simple. I know. I sometimes wish my middle name was Felicity or Cisternas. or something more eccentric. But I love my middle name. Because it makes my initials spell 'ART'. :0)
nickname: helpp! because i don't really have one. Well, okay I do. But they're weird... like 'Dassia' and sweet-peet. And let's keep it simple: Cassia -- That's what people call me sometimes... well, kind of a lot.

{five} swimming in the ocean, lake, or pool. I always feel extremely conscious of everything that's around me when I'm swimming in a lake or ocean. But still -- I love being in them. I absolutely love swimming and doing many things that are water-related. SO... I'd have to say all three!
