It's safe to say I've hit that inevitable January slump (which is most likely why I've been consuming so much chocolate). It's only the second week back to class and I'm already wishing for a second Christmas break. I've become a pro at stressing over exams and, consequently, finding ways to evade studying. It's an art, really. Needless to say, I'll be more than relieved once January is over.
In the meantime, though, I'm making due by enjoying the unseasonably warm weather and watching this Lucy Chadwick video over and over. Magical.

oh, they look SO good carlotta!
ReplyDeletei ♥ making cookies, especially chocolate too! they're just something that you never tire of : D
Those look delicious and your pictures of them are great! I totally relate to you when you just want to get past January. Well, I actually am just ready for April, when I graduate but right now I'm stressing over taking my first online college English class. Ahhh! It's terrifyingly confusing.
ReplyDeleteI, too, am in the process of exams. Christmas break is surely missed. Not to mention, the weather here is warm to be January as well. Nonetheless, beautiful post. The cookies look so very yummy.
ReplyDeleteOh dear. Those cookies look too, too amazing.

i had a chocolate craving today. the funny thing is, thought, i'm not a chocolate person. whatsoever. {except for white chocolate. that is the best.} so, i made chocolate chip cookies today. and they were the bomb.

Do I spy Polish pottery? :) I like the dusting of powdered sugar on the cookies.

I think I'm trying to pull myself out of my January slump by staring at photos of chocolate and pretending I'm not lactose intolerant.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about being back to school and having to study for exams. I am officially in I-need-Summer-break-to-come-NOW mode. I also need a cookie. :P
