(music: cats and dogs by the head and the heart)
The farmer's market opened back up a few weeks ago and Saturdays are extra special now--strolling from stand to stand, people watching (because that's my area of expertise), and basking in the morning sun. It leaves me feeling alive, inspired, and excited to live life. It's one of my favorite parts of the spring. And speaking of spring, I'm so happy it's May. I'm wrapping up school (two more weeks!), starting new projects, and I'm just generally excited for summer. And as of yesterday, I've embarked on a challenge for all of this month, which involves working out (which I've already been doing for over a week, yay!), drinking my prescribed amount of water, and keeping my room tidy. Every day. I'm two days in so far and it's looking good.
What are your plans for May?
ahh, I remember how much you love the farmer's market from last summer's blog posts :) I love the photos! also, your brother looks super legit.
ReplyDeletelovely photos, lovely videography, and lovely hipster younger brother.

Farmers markets make me happy. I love the fresh produce, the general happy buzz, and the joy of growing things with your own hands. And that video? Pretty much the best. Lilly and MeMe are THE cutest. that's all. x
ReplyDeleteps. what video editing software did you use? I have videos I want to make into something, but sadly, no mac, so no imovie. ;)
Deleteps. WINDEX. just windex. love youu!
DeleteI used windows movie maker....it works, but it's nothing spectacular. and is prone to crashing. yeah, totally ready for a mac, can you tell? ;) love you more. WINDEX ALL THE WAY.
DeleteOHHHHHHHHHH GOOOODNESS. Well, I basically am in love with your pictures in this post. Especially the egg one! Such cool shadows! And also, I'm totally jealous you live near a farmer's market! I don't even know where the nearest one to me is! Ah. So sad.
ReplyDeleteI love that video. Your family seems so happy and sweet and awesome. Can I join?! :)
I love the egg picture! It's awesome how they are all different colors. :) I love farmers markets (even though I can't remember ever going to one, really). I want to go to one. Maybe this summer in Virginia or something. :)

How beautiful, you are such a creative and extraordinarily talented (not to mention beautiful) person! Quick question.... what camera are you using and where did you upload it? I have a 60D and for some reason no editing software lets me upload it to their site/software?!?!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Janelle
These are such lovely photos Carlotta. I have yet to go to the Farmer's Marcket around here, but I can't wait! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is seriously so amazing! I loved watching your video, you have a real talent!
ReplyDeleteYou seriously have some of the cutest little siblings ever. And those strawberries look mighty delicious. When we get fresh strawberries, we wash them, mix them in a bowl with some sugar, and finish it off with some whipped cream. Mmm good!
ReplyDeleteI always love your photos Carlotta. I love going to the Farmer's market whenever I catch them in the states.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of the states, I plan on traveling in May! :)
LOVE.LOVE.LOVE. Your sisters doing cartwheels are so awesome. And I love those farmer's market pictures. Wish we had one :)

These photos are so beautiful. If only there's this kind of beautiful market in my city, I would totally be addicted to go there.
ReplyDeleteWorking out and keeping my room tidy all the time. Those two have always been in my to-do-list yet I've never been able to do that. I hope I can follow your lead.
Your videoography skills are quite stellar. I loved the ending how it just stops and goes black. <3 :)
ReplyDeleteLet's talk about how much I love your video. Which reminds me, I have a video I never got around to posting on Fernweh last month. Oops. Anyways, it made me smile and miss your whole fam like crazy. And Lilly & MeMe with their crazy cartwheeling? Girls after my own heart. ;) And good luck with your challenge! I've been doing pretty well with exercising and drinking water, but I fail miserably in the clean room department. Props to YOU, sister.
ReplyDeleteLove this :D
ReplyDeleteLove places like that. :) Great pictures! :D

Ah, the farmers market posts are back! :D That video is so amazing! The part where Lilly runs towards the camera just about killed me! ;)
ReplyDeleteMy plans for May? Hoping I can get the rest of my school I need to get done before June. :P I'm already going to have to do algebra into the summer (*smacks forhead*). My plans for summer, however, is to revamp my mind with no school bogging me down everyday. Write some more prose and poetry, read a lot of books, and just be creatively productive. [:
