listen: tea with cinnamon by katzenjammer
One of my favorite things about blogging are the friendships that are made. There is nothing quite like finding a kindred spirit. Though we've never had the pleasure of meeting, Abbey and I are soul sisters (almost scarily so, actually) and she does nice things like send me (long, very wonderful) letters and the most amazing tea. There's something special about getting something in the mail with your name in handwriting made familiar through myriad letters. Snail mail will forever trump email and the friendships made through blogging will always be some of the most cherished.
(yes I am totally commenting even though I'm on a blog fast just because I love you two and I love this and I loved my merry cranberry tea and rad letter from abbey and this is beautiful okay okay the end)

one of my friends moved away about 2 years ago and we have been rather steadily exchanging letters. it's the best. :) I love snail mail.
