tea with cinnamon

listen: tea with cinnamon by katzenjammer

One of my favorite things about blogging are the friendships that are made. There is nothing quite like finding a kindred spirit. Though we've never had the pleasure of meeting, Abbey and I are soul sisters (almost scarily so, actually) and she does nice things like send me (long, very wonderful) letters and the most amazing tea. There's something special about getting something in the mail with your name in handwriting made familiar through myriad letters. Snail mail will forever trump email and the friendships made through blogging will always be some of the most cherished.

I have a question. how do you keep a balance between investing in your relationships with the friends you see every day, and the friends you've met online?
    xx.

  8. You never cease to make me smile, sis. That really is a beautiful tea when you look closely at it. I think I'll go make some now. But thanks for this. And for reading my pages (upon pages) of rants and feelings and I don't even know what else. You're the best.

  14. That was reall sweet of your friend! How thoughtful. Also, you composed your pictures very beautiful, just like always. ;-) I'm not even kidding, but I just made myself a cup of cinnamon-apple tea - but it just tastes like warm water. Does your tea taste good at least?

    Happy weekend.
