“What do you say when the feelings don’t fit into words?"
- Tammara Webber

The problem is that most everything has remained the same, but you haven't.

The right words are hard to come by here, but I've heard--and it's true--that it's near-impossible to transform your travels to the written word when you're still living them. Hence, visual documentation and a few not-very-well-written paragraphs scribbled into my diary at night. Savoring, treasuring, storing it all up for a rainy day.

  1. I think that is true. in the moment and experiences learned are two very different things...very different places to be. sometimes you just need to be fully in it all and wait for those words to come. and they will. and then your story will unfold.

I love the mood of these photos. xo

  8. I've been loving all your cheerful pictures from Germany, (on Instagram too!). I think that, when you look back at your pictures weeks or years from now, you'll remember how you were feeling even without written words (at least that what happens to me). Piecing memories together later will be fun. :)

  11. Loving your Germany adventuring pictures + words, Carlotta! You capture it all so well. Your words in this post reminded me of this quote: "Travel. It leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller." -unknown

p.s. Have you ever thought about making a calendar w/your Germany pictures? Just throwing a random idea out there... :) Blessings!
